Fiverivers, a company that employs teams across its two offices in the West Midlands and India held double celebrations recently with its 10th anniversary and gaining the prestigious UK IT Quality Standard - Accredit UK
The Accredit IT UK quality standard has been developed specifically for technology companies to prove their excellence. Holders are certified as having the best people, excellent processes and a track record of first-class performance.
With headquarters in Willenhall and a team of software developers in India, the company specialises in providing a range of IT services including software and website development.
Over the last 10 years, the company has built up an impressive client list including the NHS, University of Leeds, Carillion plc and Aviva.
It also works with many start up and small businesses and has recently helped a furniture company to expand its online turnover by over 100% by implementing a website reseller program.
Fiverivers will use the newly gained Accredit UK standard to bolster its new marketing campaign which will target companies across a variety of sectors including legal and medical.
While the Accredit UK assessment was carried out in the UK, it also covered Fiverivers' Indian team as the processes, documentation and quality teams work across both countries.
Suki Somal, Managing Director of Fiverivers, founded the IT services company in 1999 commented on his decision to participate in the Accredit UK quality certification: "We were looking to gain an independent assessment of our company to ensure that we are providing the best service possible. While other standards are available, this is the only one that is specific to the IT industry. It has enabled us to streamline our processes and also identified some areas for improvement."
He continued: "The Accredit UK standard will help us when we are tendering for new business, by demonstrating that we are a trustworthy and credible supplier. We are also planning to work on securing the Investors in People certification to give us a further competitive edge."
The Accredit UK Assessor said: "A well established web solution provider whose experience and expertise is underpinned by strong project management and control processes. The solutions generated and serviced are typically client centric and the high level of repeat business emphasises their focus on providing good all round solutions and supported by a high level of client satisfaction."
